It’s 2022 and GOD Has Something Great in Store for You!!!

As we continue to press forward to make progress Emotionally, Physically, Economically, Educationally, but more importantly Spiritually in 2022. Today, I want to ensure that you know from GOD’s lips to my pen to your ears so that you can know that this year there is something instore for just You!!!

The Word of GOD says in

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

As I write this remember the purpose of these penned words is to encourage you, but please know I not only want you to be encouraged but they encourage me as well.  Our jobs as Christian sisters are to use

Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.  It is most essential to make a point to let (all) around you know that you are here for them to make an impact in their lives.  We are to help each other as much as we can so yes christiangirlschat is here to Encourage, Uplift and Inspire you.

In order to help each other My Loves, we must be ready and prepared for what GOD has in store for you, so (Be Ready) and I’m just here to cheer you on with a tidbit of hopelight and to remind you that you are GOD’s princess/HIS daughter and HE wants what is best for you.  If that means growing more in HIS Word, a new car, a new house, get married, write a book or even obtain a degree.  You can do it!!!

I just love how JESUS was a wonderful illustrator – story teller – parable sharer, don’t you.  I am nowhere close to composing visionary stories as HE could, but I’ll try to give you a decent visual.  This short story is about a young girl and her in store moment.  She was a very special girl at least that’s what her parents told her.  Well she was also a very scrawny child and this is not to insult her, she really was a little cutie-patootie.  LOL She really didn’t expect to ever get married or have a family. It wasn’t that she didn’t dream of that, she just thought it was her mission to be a missionary.  This young girl would hear about people traveling places in other counties doing mission work and helping to lead souls to Christ.  Oh she wanted to do just that.   Well considering she wasn’t a child of money (people would tell her you need to be rich to do that), she gave up that thought, and she didn’t focus on it so much.  So she went on through primary school onto high school and college.   Eventually after college she got married and had three children, and yes she in the back of her mind thought of mission work.  Now one may say you could do work here in the states, and so did she.  She traveled with We Care Ministries, worked with Campaign for Christ as well as Crusade for Christ as much as she could.  Not only did she try to do HIS will, but her daughters were involved on many occasions.  So let’s say she was doing her best with that part of her life, which her ultimate goal was to give GOD the glory.  Then 2009 some friends of hers told her about a Gospel Medical Mission that had been ongoing in Guyana, South America at that time friends and loved ones wanted to join in on that mission.  She felt it was her job to help raise money, gather supplies and be a supporter for those who wanted to do this work.  Then in June 2015 GOD allowed her to make her very first Mission Trip to Georgetown, Guyana.  She really had given up that idea to ever go abroad.  GOD has opened that door and she was able to make many Guyana Gospel Medical Missions on more than one occasion.  This is shared so that you can know anything GOD has for you no one can keep it from you.  Doing missionary work was a childhood dream and GOD knew it was in her sincerest places of her mind.  That need was so for her to be a part of that so GOD would get the glory and HE did!  Many souls have been brought to Christ and so many Bible studies for men, women and children have been set up. Think about it she really never contemplated that she would ever do mission work after becoming a wife or mother.  Remember what GOD has for you, it is for you and no one can keep you from receiving just that. By the way that little girl was Me!!!

There are times when we are oblivious of what GOD has in store for us – HE is working HIS will for our good and sometimes we don’t know what that is going to looks like.  Do you remember a little boy named David – lets read it:

I Samuel 16:1-13,

David Anointed King Now the Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have [a]provided Myself a king among his sons. And Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me. 3 ”But the Lord said, “Take a heifer with you, and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do; you shall anoint for Me the one I name to you.”So Samuel did what the Lord said, and went to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Sanctify[b] yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice. So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!”But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have [c]refused him. For[d] the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”So Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.” Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.” 10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.”And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not [e]sit down till he comes here.” 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with [f]bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

We see the little boy David receiving what God had for him: the anointing to be the next king of Israel succeeding King Saul. At this time in these passage of scriptures, I Samuel 15, King Saul had been rejected by GOD to continue as king over Israel because of his willful disobedience. So GOD sent the prophet Samuel to Bethlehem to make a sacrifice to the LORD and to select and to anoint one of the sons of Jesse to be the next king of Israel.

Now, the reason David received the anointing to be the next King of Israel was because his heart was right with GOD. That’s a good lesson to learn right there, keep your heart right with GOD. Make GOD the center and the head of your life. You have to be one who trust and obeys the LORD. You have to be one who worships and serves the Lord with all your heart, and with sincerity.

Now back to David, if Samuel had not been so persistent inquiring towards Jesse if there were any other sons – David (being a scrawny shepherd boy) could have missed out on the anointing to be the next king of Israel.  From Jesse’s point of view, David was not worth looking at.  He was not worth dealing with. Think about it David being a shepherd boy tending the sheep he would also smell like them as well.  Also a fact to think about, Jesse knew how handsome, tall and how King Saul had a commanding presence of which David did not possess.  It was more likely he wasn’t as handsome or physically fit as his brothers, yet the only thing he was good at is playing the harp and tending the sheep.

See, Jesse never considered David as a possible candidate. The lesson is what GOD has for you is for you and you don’t always have to look for it. It will come to you. And when you think about it, David wasn’t even looking to be anointed to be the next king of Israel. He was minding his father’s sheep. And usually that is when you get what GOD has for you, that is, you will find yourself blessed, when you take care of your own business, doing the thing that God has called you to do, and not worrying about what somebody else is doing.

Remember Samuel said we will not sit down until David shows up and once David was anointed the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.  You see there are some things that are waiting for your arrival.  The thing that GOD has for you, it is waiting for “your” arrival. That job that GOD has for you, it is waiting for your arrival. That house that GOD has for you, it is waiting for your arrival. That husband that GOD has for you, HE is waiting for your arrival. What GOD has in place will not happen until GOD brings you there to receive it. And what GOD has planned for you, it’s just for you. So let’s reflect on that thought,  you may not be where GOD wants you to be right now, just know GOD’s had is holding and maintaining what HE has for you. In other words, before God gives you what HE has for you, HE will prepare and train you for it. See, while David was out in the field minding the sheep, GOD was secretly preparing him to be the next king of Israel. And likewise, GOD is preparing you to receive what HE has for you!!!

Although Jesse’s sons were workers and were so familiar how GOD was in their lives, their hearts were not the heart GOD was looking for.  One can have everything going for them, great talent, good personality, be ever so pretty, but if your heart is not right with God all else is vain.   That’s why the Psalmist in Psalm 139:23-24 says, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way of everlasting. While Samuel may have wanted to say yes to one of the first seven sons of Jesse, GOD said no because their hearts were not the one GOD was searching for.

In other words, what Jesse was telling Samuel that by age, David is the youngest son in the family and from Jesse’s point of view, he was the smallest, the least of his boys to be looking at, and not only that David was not worth wasting time looking at.  David was not as handsome or physically fit like his brothers. The only thing David was good at is playing the harp and tending the sheep.

Notice that Samuel said we will not sit down until David shows up.  You see there are some things that are waiting for your arrival. That job that GOD has for you, it is waiting for your arrival. That house that GOD has for you, it is waiting for your arrival. That husband or wife that GOD has for you, it is waiting for your arrival. What GOD has planned for you, what GOD has for you, it cannot take place until God bring you there. And what GOD has planned for you, what GOD has for you, nobody can take it from you. No one can steal it from you or  cheat you out of it. You may not be where GOD wants you to be right now, just know GOD will hold and maintain what he has for you. In other words, before GOD gives you what HE has for you, HE will prepare you for it. HE train you for it. You see, while David was out in the field tending his sheep, GOD was secretly preparing him to be the next king of Israel. And likewise, GOD is preparing you to receive what HE has for you and it will come to you in GOD’s own time!!!

But in order to receive what GOD has for you, you have to be in the position to receive what GOD has for you.  Do what it says in Psalm 37:3-5 says, “Trust in the Lord and do well; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

  1. I accept the challenge and I am making plans to make self care a priority in my life. Self care to me is getting my life in the place where I believe God is leading it towards; spending QT with the people that value me; and spending the necessary time ALONE with God. Praying for all that are choosing to be intentional with their actions through God. Thank you for the encouragement and keep up the great work!
